North: Diego Suarez and Nosy Be: a visit to the famous Tsingy of Ankarana and the Red Tsingy, the emerald sea, Montagne d'Ambre National Park, the white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters of Nosy Iranja, which are worth the detour. The north offers an unparalleled landscape.

The official language is Malagasy. But the majority of the population speaks French and English.
